Mission Statement Alano Club West of San Jose was founded to provide meeting facilities and a supportive atmosphere for the recovering Alcoholic. The specific and primary purposes are to:
A Volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership governs the Club. As an organization, we are not affiliated with any other organization. We hold no political or religious views. We do not endorse or oppose any one. We are organized for the sole purpose of recovery. We are self supporting on an operating basis. Board Meetings and Minutes The Alano Club West Board meets every THIRD THURSDAY of the month unless circumstances warrant a change. Location: 1344 Dell Avenue, Campbell - 6:00 P.M. The Cornerstone Group is Alano Club West's Wests Service Organization which was founded in 1994 to oversee the meetings being held at the Alano Club West. This group also provides literature, secretary training, and coordination with AA's Generals Service Organization as well as the Hospitals and Institutions Organization and the Inter-Group Council. The Cornerstone group also insures the safe-guarding and accounting of all Seventh Tradition Funds for these meetings and is involved in promoting many of the Alano Club West activities.
